KODAK  Partners With Rooftop Films for Movie Marathon

News Facts

  • Kodak is partnering with Rooftop Films for Movie Marathon, a festival showcasing independent films made using only Kodak video cameras and film.

  • Movie Marathon will take place on July 29, 2018, at The William Vale, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, at 4pm.

  • Tickets are $11 and refreshments will be served.

  • Rooftop Films is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to engage and inspire diverse communities through work produced by emerging filmmakers.

  • Kodak partners with Rooftop Films in honor of its UFVF/KODAK Student Scholarship Award, which is open to all students and is judged based on professional filmmaking potential and academic excellence. All of the proceeds from Movie Marathon will go towards the scholarship fund.

  • Rooftop films helps filmmakers produce work by providing equipment rental at low-cost and supporting citywide film screenings in outdoor locations.

  • Movie Marathon will be hosted by Michael Spartum, the events manager at Kodak.
